Privacy at Kidscope
Kidscope is built for parents searching public kids activity information. We do not need children's personal data to show listings.
What Kidscope uses
Kidscope can use a city, ZIP code, address, age, category, schedule, and price filters to help compare nearby options. For the MVP, these searches are used to render results and improve the product.
Location searches
Location input is used to find nearby activities and estimate relevance. Parents can search by city or ZIP code instead of a full street address. Kidscope does not need a home address to browse public listings.
Children's information
Do not send sensitive child information through Kidscope. We do not ask for a child's full name, school records, medical records, or private family documents to browse activities.
Contact messages
If you email Kidscope, we use the information in that message to respond, review corrections, or handle removal requests. Please avoid sending private child, school, medical, custody, or identity details.
Public listing data
Activity cards are based on local seed data and public or official source pages. We show source URLs, last checked dates, confidence, and unknown fields so parents can verify details before registering.
Retention approach
Kidscope keeps only the information needed to operate the product, review source-backed listings, respond to inquiries, and improve search quality. Public listing records may be retained with source URLs and checked dates so changes can be audited.
